In the midst of World War II, the battle below the seas rages. The Nazi's have the upper edge as the Allies are unable to crack their war codes. That is, until a wrecked U-boat sends out an SOS signal, and the Allies realise this is their chance to seize the 'enigma coding machine'. But masquerading as Nazi's and taking over the U-boat is the smallest of their problems. The action really begins when they get stranded on the U-boat.

Good thriller U boat like that to a wider audience. U-571 has enough action for the fans and great performances from a Matthew McConaughey, Harvey Keitel and a large cast of the U-571 movie and TV family is facing the most serious of those attending the film.

One hell of a movie, if you take it for what it is. U-571 is a thriller about a submarine that takes over the crew of a German U-Boat and then abandoned it. The U-571 film explains it better than me and it is quite credible for the most part. The film: U-571 even adds a little character of its main studio (played by Matthew McConaughey). Although not much. This movie: U-571 is to keep on the edge of his seat and does so to the fullest. Has great special effects, decent acting, and is not dragged down in the least by the script or plot. If you want a pleasant experience background see the U-571 film after renting U-571.

U-571 has been depicted as a pro-American theater that wants to show that Americans are capable of doing everything except the search for a director who can find a history book and read it. In fact, America has nothing to do with the search for the Enigma encoding machine, but the British were responsible for taking away from the Germans. Besides the fact that this is just a BS movie, it seemed to be quite pleasant, without losing interest. I thought of U-571 as a composite of suspense to keep the audience riveted from the first second we see the Universal logo on the screen to see Matthew McConaughey and other actors like Bill Paxton and Harvey Keitel in the action. It really is "The Hunt for Red October" without knowing the interest of the submarine or the story as "Das Boot", but instead of having a good time. If you own this U-571 Action movie on DVD, crank up the volume and enjoy.
