| "Zzyzx" has to be the best DivX Movie Zzyzx seen by fewer people than ever. It was only the fate of a friend's recommendation that I heard about this movie. Honest to God, my life is richer because of it. The first interesting point about "Zzyzx" is the fact that this is a real way, in a truly chilling desolate desert area, with a really strange story. Not portrayed in the film, but strange, however. With that as a starting point, this work takes you on a journey of hell, despite its miniscule budget. As always, good writing is the key, and this baby has it. Twists, sign and, finally, the complete resolution to do everything worthwhile. Sure it's disturbing, but not for the category of either gore or anything like that. If you like the desert films in the light of day, enjoy this movie. Here is a hell of a story well told. So tell your friends! |
| If this kind of Zzyzx Thriller film is your cup of tea (Hills ... Eyes, Texas ... ... Slaughter (or twisting and turning caper movies that are not afraid of gore and thick), then you do not want to miss this . Think "Hitcher" in the desert claustrophobic. It's a little confusing unless you do some research on the DVD film Zzyzx of substance. The DVD film Zzyzx has a website where the "mythology" helps explain the background (but not much), but then you're sitting in one place to capture some of the "missing information" called attention to the opening sequence, entitled . But the Zzyzx film does not need. It can stand alone if you just ignore the ominous "Carl and Sophia" things. Yes, it is a real place (Zzyzx) and a simple search on the net. But the story is fiction ... period. Many twists and turns and some pretty gory a "circle" thing. Only a damn good indie thriller. See it ... get excited. Break a leg ... off. |
| Zzyzx is a wicked and wild, exciting DVD film Zzyzx full of moments where the viewer can not tell if there is another next breath. Anyone who is accustomed to Kenny Johnson (The Shield) as Lemansky will be blown away by Lou! His performance is so rough and raw, which makes the character Brad Pitt early grace (Kalifornia) to shame. Every aspect of this DivX film Zzyzx was chilling, chilling and strangely terrifying. My skin reacted as perhaps to hear fingernails on a blackboard .... only, no noise happens! Zzyzx was a Ryan and Robyn Cohen and Fox were great too. "The Life Aquatic" to Zzyzx? Well, just never know what lies behind the eyes of someone. What a trip! Richard Halpern is a success in this case. I can not wait to see what others have to say about him, and to see what you're doing next! Go Richard! |
| Z I saw this Zzyzx Thriller movie at a festival in Miami. Spooked that garbage out of me! I like movies that are surprises, and this did. Kenny j impressive, BTW! It begins with finding the bones of these Mexicans in the desert, then there. Kenny plays Lou, a handsome but a little crazy to take this sorta Ryan dweeby character to Las Vegas. They stop in front of the Z on the road (sorry, can not type without looking) and things that happen out there because I would not say they spoil. Trust me, do not read the comments that have spoilers. You like if you do not know the twists coming. They meet a couple more people on the road, a Candace, who has quite funky clothing. Better to quit before blowing anything. Check it out. Can not wait for the DVD. |
| As a connoisseur of twisted films, I was expecting it. While I can not say how disappointed I was frustrated by parts of it. My criticism would be worse than the legend was prominently mentioned at the beginning, but never more. Nothing supernatural reared its head nor necessary. However, an air of hope has been created, but never satisfied. And why Mexicans were so determined to crack open the wooden leg? As if they knew there was something inside. And finally, why the car had Alberta plates on it? There is no mention anywhere else in Canada. Those are minor things, however. If you like twisted movies, you like this. |
| I just want to point out that this Zzyzx Thriller movie is different from the film: Zzyzx starring Katherine Heigl. These two films have been very mixed because of their similar names. To be clear, Zyzzyx Road is a 2006 DVD movie Zzyzx starring Katherine Heigl, Leo Grillo, and Tom Sizemore. The movie: Zzyzx is about a meter (Grillo) who has an affair with a seductive (Heigl) in Las Vegas. Heigl's psychotic boyfriend (Sizemore) is turned on and things get ugly. Zzyzyx is a DivX Movie Zzyzx that came out at the same time by Richard Halpern starring Ryan Fox and Robyn Cohen. In this film, two friends across the desert to get into a dangerous situation, which makes it awfully clear that the desolation and despair, can have a terrifying effect. There was a bit of a battle between these two films, look online. |
